Ho to participate in the project
The current situation
On July 19, 1994 the "Cultural space Vila Esperança" becomes
a non-profit private association, independent of any state government, political
party and religion.
The economic aspect constitutes the major obstacle in carrying on the project;
without the financial aid of support groups it is not possible to keep in
operation and to develop the project. Regular periodical contributions are
preferable, since they allow us to plan our investments and activities on
the middle and long period.
Support group on Internet
Since June 1995 a group a friends from all around Europe organized itself
in order to provide a continuous financial aid, every three months.
This group keeps in touch by e-mail; it is coordinated by Fabio Favata and
Maria Lissoni, who take care to keep informed the sustainers on the project's
state and to remind them the deadline for each instalment.
The contribution of the Internet group covers th expenses for the Brinquedoteca;
moreover, with the last contribution (1 milllion and sixhundred thousand
italian liras, about one thousand dollars) it has been possible to increase
the opening hours by paying a salary to 4 teachers! The Brinquedoteca is
now open both in the morning and in the afternoon, and the number of children
attending it is doubled. The teachers are local girls, who are working only
half a day, yet they receive a whole minimum salary (with social security
and pension benefits), hence supporting themselves and helping their families.

How to contribute with your credit card
Since November 1995 you can contribute to this project by using your credit
card (Mastercard/VISA/CartaSi).
- Why by credit card?
We think that credit cards are the ideal solution to gather funds from all
over the world; expenses are very low, no money is lost in exchanges and
bank transactions, the account management is extremely reduced.
- How does it work?
The Radiè Resch network, because of its constitution, can not make
an agreement with a credit card company, which, on the other hand, has been
possible to obtain through the association "Casa della solidarietà"
(Solidarity House) of Quarrata (PT, Italy), which is involved with the Network.
This association has obtained from the credit card Servizi Interbancari
that they are not charged any expense for receiving a deposit, so that 100%
of your contribution can reach the project (the only profit of the card
management is the interest for the days between a deposit and its registration).
- How can payments be made?
We have prepared a credit form according to instructions of the credit card
management; every time you make a deposit, you must fill it in with your
data, your credit card number, its expiration date, and the amount of your
contribution, specified in italian liras also for contributions from other
countries. It must be signed and send by regular mail to the coordinators
of the Internet group. This form contains also the name of the reference
association (Casa della Solidarietà), the reason for the deposit
(contribution to the project Vila Esperança), and the reference period.
The same form can be used also for not periodical or extra contributions.
- How to receive a deposit form
